The park has a healthy population of tigers besides a number of other wild species such as Sloth Bear, Wild Boar, Chinkara, Porcupines, Jackals, Leopard, Jungle Cat, Marsh Crocodile, Sambar, Chital, Nilgai, Gazelles, Boars, Mongoose, Indian Hare, Monitor Lizards and a large number of birds. Ranthambore Fort and Jogi Mahal are the other attractions of this park.
Wildlife Safari in Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary:
It is another lure for the wildlife enthusiasts and is of special interest to the birdwatchers. It is one of its kinds among the various wildlife sanctuaries and ideal for the wildlife tours in India. It is a magnificent paradise of bird species that could be found here and it is also popularly known as Keoladev Ghana National Park. The major bird species you can come across at this park are Cranes, Pelicans, Geese, Ducks, Eagles, Hawks, Shanks, Stints, Wagtails, Warblers, Wheatears, Flycatchers, Buntings, Larks and Pipits. For viewing the birds, the ideal time to visit would be from October to February.
