The structure was designed by George Wittet, who is also reputed as the designer of the prestigious Gateway of India. The museum houses artefacts that date back to the age of the Indus Valley Civilization as well as relics from the ancient and medieval India.

Marine drive is another important tourist attraction in Mumbai in Maharashtra in India. Marine drive runs along a long stretch of 3 kilometers and has an “inverted C form”. Marine drive links the Nariman Point to Malabar hill. This stretch is often referred to as the Queen’s Necklace when it is lit by the street lamps at night.

Haji Ali’s Tomb is located off the coast of Worli. The structure spreads over an area of 4500 meters. The narrow causeway that links the city to the dargah is a 500 meter stretch without any railings on both the sides amidst the sea. The dargah is therefore accessible only during the low tides.

Victoria Terminus is the railway terminus which is the headquarters of the central railways and serves the city of Mumbai. This station was designed and built by Frederick William Stevens keeping in line the Victorian Gothic style of architecture in the year 1887-88. This station is listed under the heritage sites of UNESCO.
