Kodaikanal surfaced on the India tourism scenario mainly due to its captivating scenic views and ancient ruins. Coaker�s Walk � Coaker�s Walk was baptized after Lt. Coaker, who was actually the chief designer of the town of Kodai. It is positioned 1km away from the well known Kodaikanal Lake and provides a beautiful view of the plains beneath.

The Kurinji Andavar Temple - Named after the abundant Kurunji flowers that bloom once in twelve years, the Kurinji Andavar Temple was constructed in the year 1936. Lord Murugan is worshipped here.

Bryant Park � One of the excellent tourist attractions of Kodaikanal, the Bryant Park, occupying an area of 20.5 acres, is particularly famous for growing rare assortment of flowers.

Waterfalls - The waterfalls, some of the major Kodaikanal tourist attractions found around the town include the Bear Shola Falls, Glen Falls, Silver Cascade, and the Fairy Falls. The most eminent of them, 975-feet high Thalaiyar Falls is located close by.

Green Value View � Placed on the grand River Vaigai, 5 km away from the Kodaikanal Lake, Green Value View offers an enchanting view of the Vaigai Dam.

Pillar Rocks - This area is actually almost seven kilometers away from the middle of Kodaikanal. Three rocks, each of which presents a captivating view, pointing to the sky and rising to a height of about 400 meters are major attractions here.

Shenbaganur Museum - The museum is situated just 5 kilometers away from the famous Kodaikanal Lake.

The Observatory - Positioned at an elevation of 850 feet above the lake, the Observatory is mostly utilized for research purpose in the areas of meteorology and solar physics.
