The administrative headquarters of Alwar District, the city of Alwar is located in Rajasthan at about 160 km south of Delhi, and 150 km north of Jaipur. Sariska Tiger Reserve:
Set up in 1955, the Sariska Tiger Reserve is one of the few wildlife reserves which are home to ruined temples and monuments as well apart from a huge range of fauna. One of the ancient palaces has been refurbished into a hotel. Sprawled over an area of 800kms, it is home to the four horned antelopes, cheetals, sanbhars, nilgais and tigers.

Bala Quila:
