Payments


Advance payment of a certain amount is required to hold the booking viable and the balance amount is payable either before leaving your respective country or upon arrival in India – but certainly before the commencement of the services. Management staff are in a position to decide upon the exact amount payable as advance payment.

However, in cases of Special Train Journeys, resorts or hotels bookings during the tourist season, you will have to make the full payment in advance.

Mode of Payment


Overseas advance payments are accepted through Wire Transfer to our bank or through Mail Authorization through American Express credit card. And upon arrival in India, the rest of the payment can be made through Currency notes or travelers cheques or through Master/Visa credit card. In case of credit card payment, the bank charges, accordingly, will be levied over & above the total amount.

Policy Regarding Cancellation/No Show/Early Departure


In regards to cancellation of tour/travel services, for any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s, timely information is required in writing. Cancellation charges would come to effect from the date we receive your information in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:
  • 445 days prior to arrival - 10% of the total tour/service cost
  • 44 days to 15 days prior to arrival - 20% of the total tour/service cost
  • 14 days to 07 days prior to arrival - 25% of the total tour/service cost
  • 06 days to 48 hours prior to arrival - 50% of the total tour/service cost
  • Less than 48 hours or no show - NO REFUND
Please note - In case of cancellation of tour services after the booking has been made with us, a minimum of 10% of service charges would be applicable.

Special train journey and peak season bookings will entail a separate cancellation policy (which would be advised as and when required).

In case of cancellation after commencement, refund would be limited to a partial amount, depending on the amount that we would possibly be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. Unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. do not adhere to any kind of refund facility.

Refund


In case of refund of unused / unutilized services (which are paid for and cancelled in advance) the money back amount would be calculated as per the cancellation policy as described above and the amount would be refunded to the person who has made the payment initially.

Please note: The refund process may take 2 - 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund is made to Bank account, OR to the credit card account, the bank charges would be deducted from the refund amount.

Our Liabilities & Limitations


  • In case of any hike in entrance fees of monuments/museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges as implemented by the Government of India, after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, the same is liable to be charged as extra.

  • IndianVisit.com Pvt. Ltd. acts exclusively as an agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways & contractors providing other services & all exchange orders, receipts, contracts & tickets issued by us as per respective terms & conditions.

  • Numerous unprecedented factors influence the itinerary changes either before or during the tour. Change in any schedule is possible in keeping with the interest of the trip travelers’ safety, comfort & well being.

  • Hotels and Airlines hold the right to alter the rates without prior notice. In such a case the rates quoted before the revision can be altered by us as per the modifications by hotels or airlines.

  • We are not responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred, directly or indirectly.

  • We are not responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting, directly or indirectly, from any unprecedented occurrence.

  • No insurance policy is issued to compensate expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.

Check-In - 1200 Hours
Early arrival is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, reservation needs to be made starting from the previous night.

Check - Out - 1200 Hours
Later check-outs are available on request and subject to availability / Payment
