Royal Orient Train Tour Itinerary –
Day 1 – Start from Delhi Cantonment railway station in the afternoon. Daylong sightseeing in Delhi including all the famous spots like the Red Fort and Qutb Minar.
Day 2 – after an overnight stay, the Royal Orient Train Tour moves to one of the historic city of Chittorgarh. The former capital of Mewar is covered in the morning followed by trips to the temples and other important sites in Chittor. The next stop is Uadaipur , the lake city. after sightseeing in Udaipur, the tour moves to Mehsana.
Day 3 – after an overnight stay onboard, the tour reaches Junagarh and Veraval. The chief attraction of Junagarh is the Ashokan rock edicts besides others. While the temple of Somnath located besides the Arabian Sea is visited from Veraval.
Day 4 – early morning, the tour arrives at Sasangir National Park, the last home of the Asiatic Lion. After this the train moves to Dilwara, the location of famous temples and churches.
