Paragliding

  

Paragliding is fast becoming one of the most popular adventure sports in India. Along with Para dropping, flying, sky diving, and gliding, paragliding is increasingly featuring in the itineraries dealing with adventure tourism in India. The states of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra and Kerala are the states known for paragliding in India. The sport is important for Indian tourism as more and more tourists from across the country and the world are arriving in these states to experience the thrill of Paragliding.

Paragliding in Sanasar, Jammu & Kashmir:

Day 1 � Arrival at Jammu:

On arrival you are met by the representatives and transferred to the camp site at Sanasar. You are given a brief about the programme. Dinner is served in the camp.

Day 2 - At Sanasar:

Breakfast is followed by ground training in Paragliding by expert trainers. The ground training continues through the day with a lunch break in between. Dinner is served in the camp followed by sky watching as part of navigational training.

Day 3 � At Sanasar:

The day follows the previous day�s schedule. Breakfast is followed by ground training, with a lunch break.

Day 4 � At Sanasar:

this is the first day of basic flying. You are allowed a little rest after the first few hours of basic flying. Lunch is served in the camp, followed by visits to the Natha top and Mada top. You trek back to the camp for dinner.

Day 5 � At Sanasar:

Breakfast is followed by a short session of basic flying. This is followed by a trek to the Shankpal peak. Dinner and overnight stay in the camp.

Day 6 � At Sanasar:

Basic flying sessions before lunch. Post lunch visit to Nag temple and Hidden creek. You are treated to a wonderful horse ride to visit the nearby places of natural beauty, including the waterfall. Dinner is served in the camp, accompanied by camp fire and recreational activities.
