Also known as Bagh-i-Gul Afshan, the Rambagh Gardens was created by the first Mughal emperor, Babur. Accordingly, Rambagh Gardens is no exception and attracts huge numbers of tourists who visit the place to catch a glimpse of this lovely garden of the Mughals. The canals, waterways and beautiful fountains of Rambagh Gardens draw water from the Yamuna River.

Exhibiting influences of Persian and Islamic architecture, the Rambagh Gardens were further renovated with additional features by Noor Jahan, the wife of Jahangir. Supposed to have been laid out in the year 1528, it is said that Babur was initially buried here for a brief span before being transferred to his tomb in Kabul, Afghanistan.

The most attractive feature of the beautiful Rambagh Gardens that lure the visitors is the air of tranquility and calm. Although created by the Mughals, the Rambagh Gardens was renamed as thus by the 19th century Maratha rulers.
